Terms of service
These terms govern your use of LISA. Subscribing means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived — if something here is unclear, email arnaud.autran@kaptor.io and ask.
LISA is published by KAPTOR, a French SARL with share capital of €10,000, registered office Hangar 15, Quai des Chartrons, 33300 Bordeaux, France, SIREN 894 296 466, RCS Bordeaux (“we”, “us”).
1. What LISA is
LISA is a lifestyle coaching service. It gives you a small number of daily habits drawn from a curated catalogue, tells you exactly what to do each day, checks in on whether you held them, and opens the next habit only once one is genuinely established.
2. What LISA is not
LISA is not a medical device, and it is not medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It does not replace your gastroenterologist, your GP or any other clinician, and nothing it says is a medical opinion.
LISA never advises on medication or medical treatment. Dosage, timing, starting, stopping or changing any treatment is entirely between you and your doctor. These subjects are out of scope by design, and the service is built to refuse them.
LISA does not promise remission, improvement, or a cure. Nobody can.
Never delay seeking medical advice because of anything LISA said. If you have severe pain, persistent bleeding, significant unexplained weight loss, fever, or any symptom that worries you, contact your doctor. In an emergency call your local emergency number (112 in the European Union).
3. Who can subscribe
You may subscribe if you are 18 or over, have a confirmed diagnosis of Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis from a qualified clinician, and are not currently mid-diagnosis. If you are still being investigated, LISA will not build you a plan — it will tell you to see a gastroenterologist, which is the correct answer.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us. A plan built on inaccurate information is not a useful plan.
4. Safety
If you report a warning sign, LISA pauses your plan and directs you to your gastroenterologist. This is deliberate, it is not a malfunction, and you should follow it.
This is an automated safeguard, not a monitoring service. We do not watch your account, and there is no clinician on call. Do not use LISA to report an emergency or to reach a human urgently.
5. Subscription, price and payment
LISA costs $45 per month, taxes included. Payment is taken at sign-up, before onboarding, through our payment provider Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each month at the same price until you cancel.
We may change the price. If we do, you will be told at least 30 days beforehand, and the new price applies only from your next renewal — never retroactively. Continuing after that date is acceptance; if you would rather not, cancel before it takes effect.
If a payment fails we may suspend access until it succeeds.
6. Cancellation
Cancel at any time, in two taps, in the app. No phone call, no email, no retention flow.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months.
7. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Because LISA is digital content supplied immediately, when you subscribe you ask us to start the service straight away and expressly acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
Separately from that, and as our own commercial policy rather than a legal obligation: if you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we will refund it in full, without asking you why. One email to arnaud.autran@kaptor.io is enough. This applies to your first subscription only.
8. How you may use it
Use LISA for yourself. Do not share your account, resell access, scrape or copy the habit catalogue, attempt to extract the underlying prompts or models, use the service to harass anyone, or try to break, overload or circumvent its safety rules.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of this, or that is used in a way that endangers the user or anyone else.
9. Availability
We work to keep LISA running, but we do not guarantee it is available without interruption. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen. If a substantial outage is our fault and lasts long enough to matter, contact us and we will make it right on your subscription.
10. Ownership
The service, the habit catalogue, the copy, the design and the software are ours and stay ours. Subscribing gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service — nothing more.
What you write to Lisa remains yours. We use it only to run the service, as described in the privacy policy.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause you by failing to meet these terms. We are not liable for any health outcome, for what you decide to do with a suggested habit, or for anything arising because you relied on LISA instead of consulting a clinician.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under French law.
12. Ending the agreement
You can leave whenever you like (section 6). We may end your subscription with 30 days’ notice, or immediately in the case of a serious breach of section 8. If we end it without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protections of the law of the country where you live.
Talk to us first — arnaud.autran@kaptor.io. Most things are settled in one email.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Substantive changes are announced at least 30 days in advance and take effect at your next renewal. The date at the top always reflects the last change.
